I haven't tried it myself but I'm sure you'll be getting the installation process every time you plug it in the USB port. If it happens again randomly, I might go ahead and file for RAM's RMA evilavatarJan 14, 2011, 3:41 AM To me computers are just cranky and often random in when things Back to top #14 usasma usasma Still visually handicapped (avatar is memory developed by my Dad BSOD Kernel Dump Expert 23,361 posts OFFLINE Gender:Male Location:Southeastern CT, USA Local time:04:27 PM You might want to try that.
First they showed me all Avast driver caused driver verfication error notification with the driver name. It never happens when I play games or work tho, just when it's idle. It only reboots when I'm not using it! http://www.techspot.com/community/topics/bsod-when-afk-for-a-long-period-of-time.194447/ However I have started getting BSOD in Battlefield 3 and CS:GO which I never got prior to installing Sleeping Dogs.
In our 1.3 patch we added some new debugging info that allows us to track crash reports more easily. That's it. I will post comparison pictures with HD Texture off and on, there is not a big difference at all! There are ways to manually remove it, but I only use them in dire emergencies.
- Those are things I shouldn't need to do, to play a game.
- I had also problems while installing it, it always crashed while finalizing the install and I had to reinstall again.
- evilavatarJan 13, 2011, 10:07 PM Just becuase it does not detect errors does nt mean there are not any.
If the ram is under warranty, rma it and get new stuff if it is bad. http://newwikipost.org/topic/L3I8c7d9sS9EPvX1IagBTU66iOrMPWGE/BSOD-after-long-periods-of-time-6hr.html Then I unchecked all Avast driver to see if I can run driver verifier, and then it showed me driver verification error again. UPDATE: Well i managed to play for few hours(before i couldn't play for more than 1-min) and right before i quit it crashed....so idk. weblink It also might help to use a laptop cooling pad to assist with ventilation. I mean how on earth can a game ruin ur DX?? And this is not even in Sleeping Dogs.
I have an old dot matrix printer and a tandy 1000 computer my parents gave my grandpa in like 1986 that still runs like a champ (a dinosaur but a champ) We sub-divide the software part into Windows and 3rd party stuff - as there's many more problems with 3rd party stuff than with Windows (unless Windows isn't updated). I also have Ghost Recon which also is completely unplayable due to the constant crashes. navigate here L1qu1d View Public Profile Search User Find More Posts by L1qu1d Find Threads by L1qu1d 08-25-2012, 12:18 PM #9 markieeai Join Date: May 2009 Reputation: 37 Posts: 61
The drivers that follow belong to software or devices that were not developed by Microsoft. Click "Change advanced power settings". A small "Power Options" window will pop up. I noticed that the recommended voltage for them is 1.65v.
Textures started looking weird, all black, purple, green and everything. Did I make any mistake or it is indeed driver problem? I have the Knack. ** If I haven't replied in 48 hours, please send me a message. Again I could play for around 2hours before this happened.

I wonder if Square Enix will ever come out with a patch to fix this. The torubleshooter will apply the screen saver.
