It's very frustrating. Speedfan, for example, unless something has changed in the last few years, was well known as often being 10-15C off in its reported temps because it was using a flawed method and found no errors. About 3-5 seconds after it crashes like this it turns itself back on and tries to reboot.
If there was a heat problem I seem to have fixed that. I feel your pain. I can run my computer for a solid month straight and won't have a single issue. Then boot from the disk and run Memory Diagnostic for 8 to 9 passes.
