October 28, 2011 Jeremy Old cpu died. Note that my battery recharge just fine when it is off. You can see that this is because Windows is reporting it as unallocated space. Since this problem has happened before, I would try the drives in another PC and see if you can get them to recognize the drives. but no reciept.
My laptop is working again and I am on it right now. Take it to your local electronics shop and they'll give you a replacement (Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc….). I had to wait about 30 sec to 1 min for the computer to boot up normally and everything was fine until the computer is restarted, so at this point it's Bios Doesn't See Hard Drive No drives are shown.

I believe it may be a motherboard issue. can someone please tell me how to format my computer totally even erase windows...so its completely blank, I was never given a recovery disk it wont let me even make the Check This Out Recover what data you need to (viruses won't get through because of the antivirus software).
I do not think your system would be looking to boot from an external device as the primary OS. I am not interested in anything on it - just get the drive back in use.
