Safe mode will not show video either, ive even managed to try to reset the resolution without video, did not work.Things ive tried:Different HDMI cords and ports,different tv,resetting it multiple times.I If you do , hook up the monitor to it and see if it will boot that way. I initially booted fine into 7, then shut down to get into safe mode.Well I was trying to get into safe mode by hitting F8, but nothing would show up on I got a bright (BAD) idea that maybe the mobo's vid card was taking over so i disabled it.
I guess that if he cant get it to work on his comp, than it is the card and i need to get a new one. plug hdmi one in change the input accordingly, then if there is still no video switch it again. This will reboot the system at 480p and you will need to change it back to 1080 if you are daring enough to possibly go through this again. Windows 10 Black Screen No Cursor After Update I went to PNY's site and found optimal BIOS settings for the card changed the BIOS and still same problem black screen, or freezes on the scandisk. I just got it working by removing the laptop's LCD cable, then hooking up the external monitor. I breifly looked up some forums about people asking for DVI to VGA converters.

Tried uninstalling vgasave, rebooting and doing a hardware detect. If VGA mode cannot boot then you can try safe mode which almost always boots. I put in an old voodoo3000 card and it boots up just fine.
